Clean campground. Some maintenance items need attention. Several bulbs out in bathrooms. Fish cleaning stations not kept clean. Nice park overall. We've been there in both an RV and tent. Facilities are close to most sites. Workers all very pleasant and helpful. There's a recreation pavilion, but we've never seen any activities scheduled. Seems like a wasted building.
What a great park to camp during the Summer! You can find your family’s perfect site and enjoy the view of the river and the beauty of Canada across the water. Plan your stay in the thousand islands at Kring Point.
Great state park. Awesome camping sites. Clean and well kept.
This is our new favorite campground. Our water site was perfect. Our kids were safe to scoot and ride bikes and met so many friends. The general store is an added plus plus plus! I don't want to say more than this, as to not give too many good things away!
Kring Park was a beautiful place to camp. We had a river front site for our popup camper for like $26 a night. It was quiet and picturesque, and dark! The night sky and star gazing was amazing. Down side: few sites had electric and I don't think any had water; also, no camp store. Bathroom and showers were adequate, but you had to keep pushing a button to keep the shower flowing; I guess that's how they conserve water. We enjoyed our site for 2 nights, but I admit I was happy to move on to full hook-ups.
I'll have to update this because we just started our weekend here but so far this place is awesome! Super friendly grounds-keeper helped us get out camper trailer situated (boondocking). Very scenic and quiet (probably less quiet during the summer when the kids are out).
Bathrooms are very nice. Gender neutral with a toilet and shower in them.
We'll do more exploring tomorrow.
the campground is beautiful. the bath and showers very clean. some sites are solid rock, which make it unsuitable for some camping types. you won't know till you get there. no rules enforcement. camped next to people using their generator not during approved hours, having two tents and way over approved number of people. While the staff drove by multiple times. would camp here again but select sites better.
My family has camped at Kring Point for 4 generations. The sites are generally large and most offer some shade. The restrooms have been updated in the past few years and there is now a laundry room so you don't have to drive to A Bay. If you're looking for a place to take your kids, this is it! Unbeatable 💚 …
